Modern Mantiques

As a sign of the times, this month’s Raiders Fan Business that has gone above and beyond is Modern Mantiques in Downtown Las Vegas. Located in the Arts District among a community of businesses, Modern Mantiques is a great antique shop with some funky items. They’re worth visiting, and that entire community of businesses really needs your support.  Read about why we chose them below.

Modern Mantiques

The Las Vegas Arts District

Here’s a big Raider Ladies Thank You to Modern Mantiques (voted best antique store in Vegas) for caring about our city. Presented with the idea of joining together to board up and paint their store front window, they were all in. The plan was to auction off the window boards for charity when shutdown was over. Modern Mantiques chose to paint the Las Vegas Raiders on their store’s boards as their symbol of hope.

We also want to thank Re-BAR Bar and Grill across the street for organizing the project. Re-Bar has remained open for months as a drive-up bar and grill, continuing to serve the community. Selling over 400 liquor related items in their website they are staying alive.

Please help support all the businesses in the Arts District on Main Street who participated – 2 blocks worth. They are caring and generous to our community. By the way, Re-Bar is a Las Vegas Raiders Bar! When they re-open, join us for a Raiders game there!

A Great Must See: If you Raiders fans get a chance, drive thru the Arts District and see the area. There’s probably 100 murals painted on buildings throughout the district. Every summer for the last five years the city’s youth paint buildings during the Life is Beautiful camp and art program. The murals and buildings they’ve painted have made the area desireable and a fun place to live and work. The area has a bit of free-spirit funk with its numerous restaurants, art galleries and antique stores.

Location: North of Charleston ~ East of I-15 ~ West of Las Vegas Blvd. before Downtown Las Vegas

*Editor’s Note: Originally posting pictures of painted boards wasn’t what this page was meant to be about. However after the fact, it’s perfect! This Raiders board photo represents the spirit residents have about the Raiders coming to town – even during the Nevada COVID Shutdown- before they were even here. This art deserved to be here.
