Maxx Crosby
Defensive End
Maxx Crosby was drafted in the fourth round of the 2019 NFL Draft. He played very well in his opening games as a Raider and even wowed the pro ball fans after he was named the AFC Special Teams Player of the Week for his performance in the seventeenth week as a rookie!
His solid rookie performance was kind of already anticipated because even before joining pro ball, Maxx already had a good college reputation while playing for Eastern Michigan. He was a two-time First Team All-MAC (Mid-American Conference) in 2017 and in 2018. His outstanding performance was recognized throughout the football community in Western New York and Illinois.
Walking to preseason game 3, I was amazed at all the #98 jerseys going to the game.
With 8 solo sacks in 2021, Maxx was the star defensive player of the 2021 season. During the Pro Bowl Game in early 2022, Max Crosby was the MVP Defensive player. 2022 will be fun to watch!
March 11
Maxx is fond of tattoos, and one of the most meaningful ones he has is the 3-11-20 on his right forearm. These numbers are his reminder of his sobriety after he checked into a rehab for alcoholism in 2020.
When Maxx’s rookie season ended, he indulged himself with too much partying and drinking. From being the solid rookie Raider, he became an alcoholic. He was only starting his pro ball career and he knew the drinking had to stop if he wanted to continue. After seeking professional help, he successfully overcame and continues to overcome his alcohol addiction.
Now Maxx considers the numbers 3-11-20 inked in his arm the reaffirmation of his pledge to give up the addiction and live the best he can in the NFL and in life. On 3-11-22, Maxx signed a 2 year extension with the Raiders. It’s a good date!

Maxx is a dog person and he’s got a wonderful Crosby Crew. If not football cuts, Maxx uploads pictures of his dogs on Instagram. And as you may have guessed, The Crosby Crew are football fans! The three dogs would dress up with a Crosby jersey to show their excitement for the games. Maxx’s fans adore them!

Not just MAX, it’s MAXX!
Maxx Crosby is not only living up to people’s football expectations but also to his name! Even at the moment of his birth, Maxx was already exceptional.
Unlike ordinary infants, Maxx weighed 11 pounds, 9 ounces at birth. He was such a big baby that the name Maxx fit him so well! And indeed, after all, he had done and had gone through, Maxx is living his life to the Maxx!
Maxx’s Raider Lady
In February 2022, Maxx became engaged to his long-time girlfriend, Rachel Washburn. They attended college together at East Michigan where she majored in Sports Management. After the Army, Rachael went on to become an Eagles Cheerleader.
Rachael was raised in Pennsylvania and in Heartland, Michigan, not far from Max, who was born in Rochester. Congratulations to Rachael and Maxx driving off into the sunset in Maxx’s orange Porsche!
