Jakobi Meyers

Wide Receiver

A RELIABLE PLAYMAKER FOR THE RAIDERS #16

Jakobi Meyers has made a name for himself as one of the most reliable and consistent wide receivers in the NFL. Now a key member of the Las Vegas Raiders, Meyers brings a strong work ethic, sharp route running, and dependable hands to the Silver and Black.

Originally undrafted out of NC State in 2019, Meyers had to fight for every opportunity to make an impact in the NFL. His journey from overlooked prospect to a legitimate offensive weapon is a testament to his perseverance and determination.

FROM UNDRAFTED TO UNSTOPPABLE

Meyers’ football journey began at North Carolina State University, where he transitioned from quarterback to wide receiver. This position switch allowed him to showcase his natural instincts and football intelligence. Despite going undrafted, he signed with the New England Patriots in 2019 and quickly proved he belonged in the league.

In New England, Meyers became one of the team’s most consistent receivers, leading the Patriots in receptions multiple seasons and developing a reputation as a clutch performer. His ability to create separation, make tough catches, and read defenses set him apart from other receivers.

THE TRANSITION TO LAS VEGAS

After spending four seasons with the Patriots, Meyers signed a three-year deal with the Las Vegas Raiders in 2023. The move reunited him with Raiders Head Coach and former Patriots offensive coordinator, Josh McDaniels. The Raiders gave him the opportunity to contribute to a dynamic offense alongside star wide receiver Davante Adams.

Meyers made an immediate impact in his first season with the Raiders, quickly becoming a favorite target due to his reliability and ability to move the chains. His chemistry with the quarterbacks and his knack for making tough, contested catches have made him an integral part of the offense.

THE NC STATE STAR WEARING #16

Wearing number 16, Meyers has embraced his role as a leader in the Raiders’ wide receiver room. Whether making a crucial third-down conversion or finding the end zone in key moments, he has continued to elevate his game in Las Vegas.
