Carter Bradley – The Raiders’ Emerging Signal Caller

The Las Vegas Raiders have added Carter Bradley to their quarterback roster, bringing in a player known for his strong arm, leadership, and football lineage. Bradley, who has demonstrated resilience and growth throughout his collegiate career, is eager to make his mark in the NFL with the Silver and Black.

Born on March 9, 2000, in Fargo, North Dakota, Bradley was raised in Jacksonville, Florida, where he attended Providence School. Rated as a three-star recruit, he committed to the University of Toledo, choosing the Rockets over offers from several other programs.

At Toledo, Bradley’s journey was marked by both challenges and triumphs. After redshirting due to a torn labrum, he returned to the field, showcasing his potential with notable performances, including a career-high 432-yard, three-touchdown game against Northern Illinois in 2020. Seeking a fresh start and greater opportunities, Bradley transferred to the University of South Alabama in 2022.

His tenure with the South Alabama Jaguars was record-breaking. In his first season, Bradley set school records for passing yards (3,326), completions (276), and touchdowns (28). He continued his stellar play in 2023, leading the team to significant victories and further solidifying his legacy by becoming the program’s all-time leader in completions, passing yards, and touchdowns.

Bradley’s impressive college career earned him an invitation to the 2024 Reese’s Senior Bowl, highlighting his readiness to compete at the professional level. Following the draft, he signed with the Las Vegas Raiders as an undrafted free agent, eager to prove himself in the NFL.

SIGNING WITH THE RAIDERS

With a injury history, Carter was passed up in the draft. Knowing his potential, the Raiders drafted him for the 2024 practice squad for a salary under 1/2 million dollars. But after seeing him play and connect passes with receivers during the 2024 season, he was signed with a one year contract for $960,000 for the 2025 season. All quarterback options are good options at this time and let’s hope this one pays off.
